A Sibley woman was seriously injured Monday in a three-vehicle crash on Hwy. 3227, less than a mile east of Hwy. 157 in Bossier Parish.

Aleatha Houston, 23, of Bossier City, had been stopped in her Hyundai and waiting to make a left turn about 6 p.m. when a tow truck, driven by Joshua Arceneaux, 33, of Haughton, hit a Pontiac Sunfire, pushing it into the Hyundai and off the roadway.

Houston suffered moderate injuries during the crash and was taken to Willis Knighton Bossier for treatment. The driver of the Pontiac, Kristie Bryan, 19, of Sibley, was seriously injured and was flown by helicopter to LSU Medical Center for treatment.

Arceneaux was not injured in the crash.

Authorities took toxicology samples that have been submitted for analysis.

The crash remains under investigation.
