Gov. Beshear to sign Senate Bill 97

Governor Steve Beshear announced his plans on Sunday to sign Senate Bill 97.

The bill will require Kentucky students to be enrolled in school until the age of 18.

Beshear announced that the bill will be signed on Monday at 2 p.m. in the Kentucky State Capital Building in Frankfort.

Also in attendance will be First Lady Jane Beshear, Rep. Jeff Greer, Sen. David Givens, Rep. Carl Rollins, Sen. Mike Wilson and chairman of the Kentucky Board of Education David Karem.
