Gift of Love: Blanca

It was an afternoon of primp and pamper at the salon for Blanca. This 15 year old is a very intelligent child who loves to be the center of attention. She also likes school, both the academic and social part.

"My favorite thing about the 9th grade is seeing my friends," Blanca said.

As for her favorite subjects, "I like algebra and biology," Blanca said.

When it comes to her future, Blanca would like to help others like herself who are in the foster care system.

"I've always wanted to be a CPS counselor just to help people out," Blanca said.

Blanca is very sociable and loves to receive praise and adoration. She enjoys listening to music, going out to eat and hanging out with her friends.

"I draw, I sing and dance. and I'm an outgoing person," Blanca said.

As for her three wishes, it's all about family.

"My first wish is to meet my real mom, my second wish is to meet my real sister and my third wish is to find a family to love and care for me," Blanca said.

Blanca is excited about being adopted and is ready to get out of foster care so that she can have a normal teenage life.

"I just want a family that loves and cares about me because I've never had anyone to love and care about me," Blanca said.

A family that can show Blanca the Gift of Love.
