Seniors Speak Out On Driving

At today's bridge tournament at the TASCA Senior Center in Tyler, everyone was talking about the deadly accident that happened two nights ago in Bullard.

That's when 79 year old Virgil Hall started driving on the wrong side of the road. He crashed into a mini van and 7 people died.

Today many seniors playing bridge said some elderly people should not be behind the wheel of a car.

Many felt seniors should be given driver tests every year to make sure they should still be behind the wheel.

Though all of the ladies over 65 playing cards today said they would hate to lose their independence and cars.

They all said they are relying on their children to tell them when they need to stop driving.
