SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Several of the students involved in the Harlem Shake video that got more than 3 dozen students suspended last month have turned back up on YouTube - this time with an apology.

There were 3 videos uploaded to YouTube in mid-February. One appeared to involve members of the school's baseball team. Another involved a Calvary English class, and a third featured several student's take on the viral meme in the boy's bathroom at the school. The original was taken down shortly after it was posted, but it's since been re-uploaded by another user, along with the others.

The 2 1/2 minute apology video uploaded Monday features 6 students involved in the bathroom version of the video.

The "CBA Harlem Shake (apology edition)" video posted by PortCityCrackers begins similarly to the original video, with a student wearing a hoodie approaching one of the urinals as the now-familiar Baauer beat begins, only this time, the student removes the hood and a pair of sunglasses and turns to the camera to say, "We are from CBA Harlem Shake, and this is our apology video."

Taking turns seated in front of the camera, the students then each apologize individually. "I just want to apologize to the church and school. It wasn't our intent to mar Calvary's image. I just hope that you can forgive us and uh, promise you that this will not happen again. We just hope that everyone can forgive us and we can move on and put this in our past."

"Our intent for this video was not to disgrace our school, our church, not to make a mockery of any of that," says another.

"We wanted to famous on YouTube," explains another, "but not to be famous for embarrassing our school."

"We're sorry for what we've caused Calvary and for Pastor Rick to go through..." continues another.

The students go on to read from Psalm 51: "Have mercy on me, oh God, according to your unfailing love, according to your great compassion, blot out my transgression..."

It's yet not clear whether the students acted on their own in posting the apology, or whether they were asked to do so.

The suspensions of some of the students involved in the English class video were later reversed, because the school found that it was done with a teacher present. That, they determined, amounted to the school's sanctioning of the activity.
