Driver in bank drive-thru collision won't be ticketed

A medical review has been ordered on an 87-year old man who rammed his SUV into the drive-thru at a Tyler bank.

On Wednesday, Doyle Simmons struck the drive-thru of the Citizens 1st Bank in Tyler, while he was leaving the Braums parking lot.

Simmons was not seriously injured in the wreck, and Tyler Police say he will not be issued a ticket.

Police have ordered the medical review to see if Mr. Simmons still meets the physical requirements to continue driving.
