RIPLEY COUNTY, IN (FOX19) -

Investigators confirmed that racing was not a factor in an unexplained crash which killed three teenagers in Ripley County.

Their school superintendent said they had been serving breakfast to farmers at a Future Farmers of America event at Hopewell Church, located nearby. He didn't know why they left what was supposed to be an all-day event.

On Monday, Indiana State Police revealed both vehicles involved in the accident left the church at different times, and each driver was unaware of the other leaving the event.
