Daughter of accused shooter of Gregg County JP speaks out

Coming up on Good Morning East Texas...

A Justice of the Peace is shot, and the daughter of his accused shooter is speaking out. We'll have why she says this is not about violence, and what she attributes the shooting to.

And, with the conclave set to begin tomorrow, more than 100 high-ranking Catholic priests are preparing. We'll tell you what's on the agenda as they prepare to vote on who will become the world's next Pope.

Plus, East Texas seniors now have a chance to be recognized at a state and national level for their volunteer service work. Home Instead Senior Care recognizes seniors annually through their program, "Salute to Senior Service". Good Morning East Texas' Annette Falconer will be live in the studio to tell us how we can nominate local seniors.

Grant Dade says that after seeing a few morning clouds this afternoon will be mostly sunny and pleasant.  Highs will reach the upper 50s to lower 60s with northwesterly winds around 10 to 15 miles per hour.  Tonight will be clear and cold.  A light freeze is possible mainly in rural areas.  Lows will be in the lower to middle 30s.  Tuesday will be sunny and warmer.  Highs will reach the upper 60s to near 70 degrees.  We'll see what's in store for the remainder of the week coming up on Good Morning East Texas.
