Miami Bayside Foundation wants to announce the new board members for the year 2013.

With the start of the New Year and an agenda full of fresh initiatives, the Miami Bayside Foundation would like to welcome its newest members of the board. The new board members, Marie Gill, M. Gill & Associates Inc., Elizabeth Morton, CPA, Fabricant Morton & Co., Michelle Barton King, Barton King Soret PA, and Adam Dunshee, Continental National Bank of Miami, will begin to work diligently alongside current board members to continue to achieve the goals of the Foundation.
In 2012, the Foundation created scholarship endowments for City of Miami students interested in entrepreneurship at Florida International University and Florida Memorial University; awarded a gift to Breakthrough Miami, an academic enrichment program for middle-school students from underserved communities; awarded 94 scholarships through existing endowments; and, provided funding and training to minority business owners in the City of Miami.
The Miami Bayside Foundation is a nonprofit organization designed to advance economic development in the City of Miami through the support of minority businesses and education. The Miami Bayside Foundation seeks to do this through the creation and administration of a loan program for minority businesses, through the creation of programs and educational scholarships for minorities, and by providing technical assistance to local organizations engaged in economic development.
