HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (PRWEB) March 05, 2013
This partnership combines the N.C. Solar Center’s IREC-ISPQ-accredited Renewable Energy Technologies Diploma Series with Everblue’s ACICS-accredited training courses. The Renewable Energy Technologies Diploma Series is a non-degree diploma from N.C. State University comprised of continuing education programs. Everblue’s non-degree programs cover the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Rating System, Building Performance Institute (BPI) Technical Standards, and Residential Energy Services Network (RESNET) National Standards.
“[This] partnership was forged in order to offer our students the best in energy efficiency, green building, and renewable energy education,” said Maria O’Farrell, N.C. Solar Center’s program manager.
The N.C. Solar Center, celebrating its 25th year, will host a kick-off event at the Holiday Inn Express in Raleigh, N.C. on March 5 from 6-7 p.m. Students, faculty, staff, and industry professionals will be officially introduced to the new training options available through Everblue.
