Niche Modern was born out of a simple search for lighting fixtures for a small shop in New York’s East Village, which quickly transformed into the launching pad for a contemporary, chic lighting company with installations around the globe. Each piece of glass produced by Niche Modern is carefully handcrafted, just as their Co-Founder and Creative Director, Jeremy Pyles, handcrafted the strategy behind NicheModern.com. In the world of social media, Niche Modern has adeptly and successfully used imagery to promote their products and brand. Every product in the Niche Modern collection is made in the company’s new Beacon, NY factory. The inaugural Blades Ecommerce Awards will be held in conjunction with MivaCon 2013, Miva Merchant’s 13th annual conference. This year’s conference and awards dinner will take place in San Diego, CA on March 6 – 8 at The Hyatt Regency, La Jolla.
Niche Modern will be recognized at The Blades Awards, along with other Miva Merchant stores that have achieved excellence in ecommerce. The categories for nominations include Best Use of Social Media, Best New Feature, Best Design, Most Unique Marketing Promotion, and Best New Website of 2012.
