GREGG COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -
Two people are hospitalized with stab wounds, and another person is arrested in a drunk driving crash, after an early morning incident at an East Texas night club.
Gregg County Sheriffs say it happened around 2:30am Saturday when individuals flagged down a sheriffs unit near the Enigma club on highway 31 near the Gregg-Smith County line.
Two occupants in a car were suffering stab wounds to the head and neck area, and an ambulance was requested.
While this was going on, DPS troopers say a Hispanic woman crashed into the back of a parked DPS unit as the stabbing was being investigated.
One stabbing victim was air-lifted to a Tyler hospital while the other was taken to a Longview hospital, both with serious injuries. The woman was arrested for DWI.
The circumstances of the stabbing are still being investigated.
