Solid Debut for Chapman

Posted: Updated:

Cincinnati, OH (FOX19) - So far so good.  Aroldis Chapman made his first start of the spring and threw two perfect innings against the Rockies.  Colorado hitters were six up and six down against Chapman who threw 22 pitches - 17 for strikes.

Chapman appeared to work with several of his off speed pitches and finished with one strikeout.

For the second straight spring Chapman is working as a starter.  In 2012 injuries to Ryan Madson and Bill Bray forced the Reds to move  Chapman to the bullpen.
