Coming up on Good Morning East Texas...
We'll have the latest information on a fatal wreck that happened in Tyler Wednesday night. Police have just released the name of the victim in that accident.
Plus, an employee at an East Texas school that just recently decided to allow teachers to carry concealed weapons on school grounds, is in the hospital this morning. We'll have the latest details on the incident that occurred at an off-campus training site.
Brett Collars says the same pattern that has been in place since Tuesday will remain through the weekend, and that means plenty of sunshine today. Highs will top out in the upper 50s to near 60 in some spots. Winds will once again be high, gusting as high as 25mph.
Overnight clear skies are expected. Along with that, and the dry air mass we have in place, temperatures are expected to drop to near freezing once again. Some spots in parts of Deep East Texas may only drop into the middle to upper 30s.
More sunshine is on tap as we close out the work week. Highs on Friday
topping out in the middle 50s.
