LEBANON, OH (FOX19) -
A Cincinnati woman appeared in the Lebanon
Municipal Court on Tuesday after Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers arrested her
for attempting to convey illegal drugs onto the grounds of the Lebanon
Correctional Institution.
Troopers charged Sarah D. Davidson, 45, with attempting to convey
illegal drugs onto the grounds of a correctional facility, a third-degree
felony, possession of criminal tools, a fifth-degree felony and possession of
marijuana, a minor misdemeanor.
Troopers along with Department of Rehabilitation and
Corrections investigators obtained information that Davidson planned to convey
the illegal drugs into Lebanon Correctional Institution. Based on the
information gathered during the investigation, a search warrant was obtained
and served on Davidson upon her arrival at the institution. Davidson was found
to have two grams of marijuana and nine grams of tobacco concealed on her
person.
Davidson is being held at the Warren County Jail. If
convicted, she could face up to six years in prison and up to a $12,650 fine.
