Livingston man killed in 2-vehicle wreck

POLK COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

A Livingston man died after pulling out of his driveway and in front of an oncoming pickup Monday morning.

Cecil Lang Alec, 68, died at 11:02 a.m. at a Livingston hospital.

According to the DPS report, Alec was driving a 2006 Hyundai Sonata and pulled out of his driveway and onto US 190, 18 miles east of Livingston, and in front of a 2005 Dodge pickup, driven by Ronnie Lynn Reynolds II, of Oakhurst.

Reynolds was not injured. Alec was not wearing a seatbelt.
