Suspect and victim arrested in aggravated robbery

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, OH (FOX19) -

Two men are behind bars after an aggravated robbery in University Heights.

Police say Thomas Eldridge, 19, kicked in the door of an apartment on Wheeler Street on Saturday, pointed a gun at the victim, demanded property and took off.

During the investigation, police also arrested the victim, Daniel Staples, 22, on several drug charges after finding marijuana and drug paraphernalia inside the apartment.

Both men were in court Monday morning. Eldridge's bond was set at $10,000 and Staples' was set at $1,000.
