Elderly woman killed in Sabine County storm Thursday

Storms swept through the entire Pineland area Thursday.

Sabine County Sheriff Tom Maddox confirms that a 74-year-old female died in Thursday's storms.

The woman lived north of Pineland in the Strickland Crossing area. Her identity has not been released.

The sheriff said that 15-20 structures were damaged and that damage reports are still coming in.
