Girl assaulted in back yard, sketch of suspect released by police

Happy Thursday, news fans! We hope you're having a great day today.

Here's a sampling of what we're working on for you in the newsroom today:

Mount Pleasant Police say a teenage girl was assaulted in her back yard by a male suspect. She has now been able to work with a police sketch artist to render a likeness of the man. More details during East Texas News at 4.

At 5, we'll discuss the tornadoes that hit East Texas this week (the count is up to 12) and we'll talk with two doctors who share differing views on a new trend in health care: concierge medicine. It's an interesting subject that you may find helpful, so don't miss it.

And during the news at 6, we'll tell you about a feud that police say apparently existed between Joe Travis Watley and the man he shot dead at the American Legion in Henderson on Sunday. We'll fill you in tonight.  We'll also update you on the dog stolen from his own back yard in Longview.

And Chief Meteorologist Mark Scirto will join us from the StormTracker 7 Weather Center to tell us what our weather weekend holds for us! And aren't we all looking forward to that?
