Joe
Travis Watley, charged in the murder at the Henderson American Legion, has been released on a $150,000 bond this morning from the Rusk County Jail.
The
bond was assigned by Justice of the Peace Precinct 5 Judge Joe Sorrells.
According to the Henderson Police Department, At approximately 12:20
a.m. on Sunday, the Henderson Police Department received a call of
multiple shots being fired at the American Legion located at 601 Sand
St. in Henderson, Texas. Officers were informed there was at least one
person, inside the building, that had sustained multiple gunshot wounds
to his upper body.
The victim was identified as 53-year-old Roy Lee Moore of Henderson.
