We're in Galveston as Triumph passengers return home

Coming up on Good Morning East Texas...

Home at last. More than 3,000 passengers and a 1,000 crew members stepped onto land last night after four days stuck at sea. We are live in Galveston where passengers are expected to arrive within hours.

On KLTV.com right now, Triumph passengers describe conditions on the crippled ship. Click here to read more.

And, we'll have an update in the first in a series of permanency hearings for five East Texas children who were removed from their home last summer.

Plus, ladybugs are known to be cute and cuddly, and sometimes even the theme at birthday parties or even baby showers, but that sentiment changes a bit if you find out you have a ladybug infestation in your home. Good Morning East Texas' Annette Falconer is live in the studio to explain what an exterminator recommends to treat the problem.

Grant Dade says a cold front will move through the area today. As the front moves through we will see mostly cloudy skies with a slight chance of a light shower. Highs will range from the lower 50s in our northern counties to the middle 60s ahead of the front in Deep East Texas.  Tonight we will be partly cloudy and chilly.  Low temperatures will drop into the lower 30s.  Saturday will be partly sunny and chilly.  Highs will be in the 50s.  Grant will take a look at when our next good chance of rain is coming up on Good Morning East Texas.

Have a wonderful Friday!
