
Skillet Bacon Wrapped Seared Filets
4, 1 ½" thick filet
Butter
Sea salt
Crushed black pepper
Heat a cast iron skillet on high until very hot. Coat your filet in salt and pepper. Sear each side of your filet for 1 minute, including sides. Once seared wrap with a bacon slice, place 1 tablespoon of butter on top of each filet and place the skillet with steaks in a 400 degree oven. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes for rare, 10 to 12 minutes for medium rare, and 12 to 14 minutes for medium.
