A Winter Weather Advisory that was in effect for most of the Tri-State has expired.

The heavy snow has moved east of the region, but some lighter snow continues to linger of portions of the area. Between 1 and 4 inches of snow has fallen across the region on Wednesday.

Roads are mostly wet, but motorists should be advised of reduced visibility and patchy slick spots.

As this low pressure system continues eastward our skies should clear later this afternoon with high pressure building in and highs in the mid to high 30's.

Thursday should be quiet with highs back in the upper 40s.  Colder air will return for Friday and Saturday with flurries and snow showers back in the forecast.
