Need ideas for Valentine's Day dinner with your sweetheart?

EAST TEXAS (KLTV) -

Local restaurants are ready to help you make this Valentine's Day a special one for you and your loved ones.

Here's what they submitted to us to share with you:

Lago del Pino is located at 14706 County Road 1134,  Tyler, TX. Enjoy lake views and even eat outside. Reservations highly recommended but not required. (903) 561-5246.

Lago's menu for Valentine's Day:

Salads

Choose from:

-Wedge of Iceberg Lettuce, crispy Bacon and Grapes tomatoes with a creamy Gorgonzola Dressing

-Crisp Greens, Chevre, Black Pepper prosciutto crisp, candied walnuts, merlot infused pear slices and a Rosemary-pear vinaigrette

 

Entrée:

Choose from:

-Seared Breast of Chicken, stuffed with Pink Peppercorn and Herb Goat cheese, served on a bed of Spinach and Pasta. $30

- 6oz Filet and Chili Lime lobster tail Served with roasted Bell pepper Mashed Potatoes and sautéed Asparagus. $55

-Smoked Paprika Salmon served with Roasted New Red Potatoes and Sautéed Asparagus. $30

 

In Ben Wheeler, The Forge has a nice evening planned for you, too. Their number is 903-833-5970. Reservations not required.

On Valentine's evening, The Forge presents music by Taylor Heard and serves up their standard menu by candlelight and specials including grilled salmon and shrimp or steak and shrimp. Chocolate-covered strawberries are available for dessert. Before or after dinner visit the downtown shops open until 7  p.m. for "last minute love" shopping.

 

The Potpourri House in Tyler, located at 3320 Troup Highway, has a special dinner for the holiday, as well as it's regular menu and salad bar, featuring their famous pimiento cheese! $25 per person. Reservations not taken except for groups of eight or more. 903-592-4171.

Choice of Entree: 

* Chicken Wellington - boneless breast of chicken stuffed with Mushroom wine sauce in Encrusted in a Puff Pastry

* 12 oz Prime Rib

* Chicken Oscar -grilled Chicken breast topped with Crab Meat asparagus and Hollandaise sauce

* Shrimp Florentine - Shrimp Sautéed with spinach, white wine Cream sauce served over Fettuccini

* Surf and Turf - Petite Tenderloin served with Shrimp

 Enjoy with a Glass of Wine

Chocolate Ensconced Cream Brulee for dessert

 

At Jake's on the Square in Tyler, located at 111 East Erwin, there is a lovely evening planned. Jake's has a rooftop area as well as the dining room.  Prices range from $36-68. Call 903-526-0225 for reservations.

Julian's Asian Restaurant and Lounge, located at 5201 South Broadway in Tyler, will have a special, romantic setting with exclusive extras just for Valentine's Day. Prices will range from $30-50. Reservations are not required, but are suggested. 903-509-8833.
