Man survives after being hit by train in Bossier City

BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) -

An ArkLaTex man was hit by a train Monday morning and lived to tell about it.

Police and paramedics responded to a report of an accident at the train tracks along Traffic Street near the Louisiana Boardwalk in Bossier City around 1 a.m. They say they found a man who had reportedly hit by a train. Police say he suffered minor injuries but is expected to be okay.

The train did come to a complete stop shortly after the accident.
