PEORIA, AZ (CBS5) -

Police in Peoria put a school on lockdown after a man was reportedly on the roof of his nearby house with a large knife.

Happy Valley Charter School confirms the school went under lockdown about 2:30 p.m. Friday.

Peoria police said, as of 3 p.m., the man was taken into custody and the school was reopened.

No other details have been released at this time.
