Fashion.me, Brazil’s largest fashion startup, will host its U.S. launch on the runway at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week on Thursday, February 14. The social style network saw 4 million unique visitors in Brazil in 2012 and will demo its product during the Decoded Fashion Forum & Hackathon Finale.

Fashion.me is the biggest fashion startup in Brazil and allows users to follow trends, products, and style icons in real time, while uploading favorite items and combining them into editorial-worthy looks. The network enters the U.S. with 4 million users from one of the most prominent startup and fashion markets. Fashion.me is one of three startups that will launch during The Decoded Fashion Forum & Hackathon Finale, the first tech event to ever be hosted on a runway.

"There are a lot of fashion tools on the Internet but when we started Fashion.me, there wasn’t one that exclusively fostered conversations and relationships in the fashion industry. With the success Fashion.me has seen in Brazil, we decided to expand our platform and bring it to the U.S. market," says CEO and Co-Founder Flavio Pripas.

Pripas founded Fashion.me together with Renato Steinberg, both of whom were named among the “most creative business people in 2012” by Fast Company Magazine.
