Tyler Hosts State Little League Tournament

Dreams of becoming world series champions begin right here in Tyler for Texas Little League teams. For the second year in a row, Tyler is hosting the Texas Little League Championships. Faulkner Park will be home to 20 teams from five different age brackets. This week's winners will advance to the regional tournaments, with a chance to go to the world series. Last year's 11-12 year old division winners were from Richmond, Texas, and advanced all the way to Williamsport, Pennsylvania. East Texas is represented by just one team.  The Rose Capital West team from Tyler is competing in the Junior Division.  The action continues through Saturday night.
