"I
like that one, that one's pretty," Jasmine says.
It
was an afternoon of decisions as Jasmine picked out a new friend at
Build-a-Bear. In the end the panda won!
When
it comes to school, this 8th grader loves to learn.
"I
like all subjects," Jasmine.
This
14 year old would love to go to culinary school one day.
"I
would like to own my own pastry shop. it's going to be all chocolate,"
Jasmine said.
Now
that sounds like a delicious way to make a living!
When
Jasmine is not in school, "I like go-cart riding, I like to dance, I like
to walk around, I like sometimes to just sit outside listening to music,"
Jasmine said.
Jasmine
also loves movies including the Twilight series and the Lion King.
"I
like Disney movies with a whole bunch of cartoons. I just like being a
child."
Jasmine
has been in foster care in 2009 and she is excited about finding her forever
family. Jasmine says it's really important to her that she is adopted by a
family where she can feel she is actually part of the family, and not just an
extra person in the home. And she wants to maintain contact with her younger
brother.
"Just
being accepted period and not having to change my personality and just having a
good time," Jasmine.
And
this little girl hopes a family will find her soon, and show her the Gift of
Love.
