SCOTTSDALE, AZ (CBS5) -

Scottsdale police are looking for leads after a man entered one apartment and two motel rooms and exposed himself to women.

The incidents happened over the weekend.

A woman woke up screaming after a man with his pants down entered her room through an unlocked glass door at the Palladium Apartments at 4111 N. Drinkwater Blvd. at 2:30 a.m. Saturday.

The next morning at about 3 a.m., the same suspect wearing only underwear entered a first-floor room through an unsecured window at the Howard Johnson hotel at 7110 E. Indian School Rd. The victim put up a struggle, kicking and hitting him, causing the suspect to flee.

A short time later, at about 6:45 a.m., the suspect found an unlocked sliding glass door at the San Marin Apartments at 4215 N. Drinkwater Blvd. The victim awoke and started screaming, causing the man to run away.

None of the women were hurt.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s. He is between 5'8" to 5'11" tall and weighs between 150 to 175 pounds. He has short blonde or light brown hair. The victims said he might possibly have a piercing by his eye.

He was last seen wearing a gray zip-up hooded sweatshirt, gray workout pants and possibly a beanie cap during the third incident.

Scottsdale police issued the following personal safety tips:

Keep your blinds closed at night and lock doors and windows.

Be aware of your surroundings when going to and from your residence.

Report all suspicious activity to police immediately by calling 911.

Have a safety plan that includes an escape route, if you are confronted by a suspect in your home.

People with any additional information about the incidents are asked to call Scottsdale police at 480-312-TIPS or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
