GUADALUPE, AZ (CBS5) -

Maricopa County Sheriff's deputies put a man behind bars who they say neglected his two dogs.

Last month, deputies found two dogs at Francisco Valencia's Guadalupe home.

Neither dog had food and one of the dogs was too sick to move his back legs.

Valencia was booked into the Fourth Avenue Jail on animal cruelty charges.

Deputies said he surrendered both dogs to the MCSO MASH unit.
