Ted Torbeck was appointed to Chief Executive Officer, succeeding the company's former CEO Jack Cassidy who has served since 2003.
Cassidy was elected to Vice Chairman of the Board.
Torbeck joined Cincinnati Bell in 2010, serving as the President and General Manager. Prior to Cincinnati Bell, he served as CEO for the Freedom Group and worked for General Electric Co. for more than 25 years. He received a marketing degree from Miami University and an MBA from Xavier University.
The moves were approved by Cincinnati Bell's board and are effective immediately.
