Shreveport police are on the scene of an armed robbery at Payday Advance on Pines Road.

Shreveport police are have released the surveillance video of an armed robbery in west Shreveport in hopes of tracking down a suspect.
Police say an armed man entered the Payday Advance at 7013 Pines Road afternoon just before 1 p.m. Thursday.
In the surveillance video, the man can be seen throwing a hoodie over his head. Witnesses say he told the people inside the business that this was a robbery and ordered everyone to put their hands in the air.
A female employee ran out the front door of the business when the suspect ran to the back to grab the money. The suspect then ran around to the back of the building.
