Goodyear police arrested a 29-year-old woman and charged her with robbery and unlawful flight after a Wells Fargo Bank was robbed Wednesday morning.
Police said Alegria Perez walked into the bank at 13470 W. Van Buren about 11 a.m. Wednesday and told a teller that she was wearing a bomb. Perez fled in a white minivan that was later stopped by police.
A robot was used to examine the van because of the bomb threat, police said, but no explosives were found, police said.
