Tyler Residents Satisfied With Quality Of Life

An annual survey finds an increase in the number of Tyler residents who are happy with their quality of life. The Tyler police department mailed out the survey to 900 randomly selected addresses; around 190 people returned them.

87.5 percent of those respondents rated their quality of life as excellent or good. Only 12.5 percent said their quality of life was average. No survey respondents felt their quality of life was poor. The number of responses indicating "excellent" quality of life is at an all time high; growing by more than 35 percent since 2000.
