Residents of Greenbriar Nursing Home in Tyler, got a special visit from the YMCA Friday.
A group of kids from the "Y" made a visit to the nursing home. After singing a few songs, the kids passed out handmade crafts to the residents.
For the kids it's a chance to show off some of the things they have learned this summer. For the residents, it was a welcome treat.
"It really makes our day and our month and so forth to have the youngsters come," said Greenbriar Resident, Dean "Sarge" Mullican.
"Making these people happy is the best part about it," said camper Laci Bond.
Friday's visit was part of the "YMCA's" caring and sharing week for the summer daycamp.
