MARSHALL, TX (KSLA) - A police investigation is underway in Marshall, Texas following a deadly stabbing Wednesday night.
Marshall Police and emergency personnel responded to the 500 block of W. Meredith St. around 11:30 p.m. to a reported stabbing. When they arrived, officers found a man stabbed several times. Police have identified the victim as 39-year-old William Ashley Alford. Paramedics transported Alford to Good Shepherd Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.
Marshall Police tell us they have arrested a male juvenile on one count of 1st degree murder in connection with the stabbing. He is now in custody at Willoughby Juvenile Detention Center. No word on a motive at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
