Assault Call Leads Police To Drugs, Fake ID's

A domestic dispute call early Tuesday morning, led Tyler Police to a house filled with drugs, guns and equipment used to make false ID's.

Police were called to the home on Richfield St. around 1 a.m., by a woman alleging her boyfriend had assaulted her. Once inside, they found a number of illegal drugs, guns and some cash. They also found a computer and printer next to a pile of plastic sleeves.

Authorities said the equipment was being used to make false Texas drivers licenses. The boyfriend was not there when police arrived.
