For Wednesday's "What caught my eye" segment, Jeff Creighton found this amazing video from Ireland.

Filmmakers Sophie Clive and Liberty Smith are paddling along Ireland's River Shannon. This two-minute production, "A chance encounter and shared moment with one of nature's greatest and most fleeting phenomena," became an Internet sensation and is among the most captivating murmuration videos ever produced. Definitely worth watching!
