New reward fund established in tragic Greenville murdered teen case

At a press conference Tuesday, the Greenville Police Department and the Van Zandt County Sheriff's Office announced that a $25,000 reward fund has been established for information leading to an arrest and conviction in connection with the Alicia Moore homicide case.

Alicia Moore was reported missing on Friday, Nov. 2. She was last seen getting off a school bus in Greenville.

A road crew found the teen's body on FM 47 north of Wills Point. Alicia Moore was found in a box-style trunk.

Five entities have each contributed $5,000 toward the reward fund: Hunt County DA's office, Van Zandt County DA's office, Van Zandt County Sheriff's office, Hunt County Crime Stoppers, and Xerox.

Anyone with information in connection with the death of Alicia Moore is urged to contact Greenville Police Department at 903-457-2900 or Hunt County Crime Stoppers at 903-457-2929.
