LIVINGSTON, TX (KTRE) -
Polk
County Sheriff's deputies arrested the third suspect in an alleged methamphetamine
ring late Thursday night on a felony child endangerment warrant.
Marshall
Shane Lovell, 40, of Rye, is still being held in the Polk County Jail on felony
charges of abandon/endanger child and place in imminent danger of bodily injury,
manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance between 1 and 400 grams, and
possession/transport of a dangerous chemical with the intent to distribute.
Collectively, his bond has been set at $450,000.
Officials
from the Polk County Sheriff's Office could not be reached for further comment
Monday morning because it was Martin Luther King Jr. Day. A story on the
PolkCountyToday.com Web site stated that additional charges against Marshall
Shane Lovell are pending.
On Jan.
12, two narcotics detectives with the Polk County Sheriff's Office showed up at
Marshall Shane Lovell's residence in the Big Thicket Estates Subdivision to
serve arrest warrants on the man. However, when they got there, Marshall Shane
Lovell was not there, but his wife and son were.
While the detectives were there, they allegedly spotted narcotics in plain
view. They secured the residence and obtained a search warrant from Judge
Darrell Longino. When they searched the home, they found five, one-pot meth
labs.
Tina Renae, 39, of Rye, and Marshall Lee Lovell, 20, Big Thicket, were
arrested at the scene and transported to the Polk County Jail. Both of them
were charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance between 1 and
40 grams and possession/transport of a dangerous chemical with the intent to
deliver, both felonies. Collectively, their bonds were set at $200,000.
