The Columbia, SC Police Department is searching for three missing persons who left Columbia on January 7 en route to Shreveport. They have not been seen since then.
Brady Brown, 49, his uncle Eddie Lee Cobb, 68, and Ella Williams, 42, a family friend, were in Columbia on January 4 to attend a funeral.
They left on January 7 in a 2006 beige or gold Dodge Stratus with paper tags, intending to travel on I-20 West to Shreveport. However, they never arrived.
The last known communication is believed to have been made from a cell phone belonging to one of the three near Birmingham, AL on January 7.
One of Brown's relatives reported all three of them missing. Investigators have received information that Williams may be in need of medications.
The Columbia Police Department's Special Victims Unit has contacted law enforcement agencies in Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, Texas and Mississippi.
