The Accreditation Commission for Health Care, Inc. (ACHC) will start their 2013 accreditation workshop schedule on Feb. 27 at the organization’s training facility in Cary, N.C.
“Private Duty 101: Accreditation Workshop” will be conducted by ACHC Clinical Compliance Educator Lisa Meadows to benefit agencies and providers who are either new to the private duty industry or to accreditation. The workshop will help you accomplish the following:
Interested attendees should go to achc.org/news/workshops to download the registration form and return it with payment by Feb. 20. Participants will receive the “ACHC Accreditation Guide to Success,” a step-by-step manual which includes examples of Preliminary Evidence Reports, auditing tools, sample forms and more to help manage continued compliance. In addition, attendees receive a $250 voucher to apply towards ACHC accreditation if they apply or renew within six months.
ACHC is a not-for-profit organization that has stood as a symbol of quality and excellence since 1986. They are ISO 9001:2008 certified and have CMS Deeming Authority for Home Health, Hospice and DMEPOS. ACHC is the provider’s choice for accreditation because of personal accreditation advisors, relevant and realistic standards, competitive pricing and a friendly, consultative approach to accreditation. Accreditation by ACHC reflects an organization’s dedication and commitment to meeting standards that facilitate a higher level of performance and patient care.
