At this time, it appears that the moisture associated with the stationary front to our east, which has aided in the wintry precip over the past two mornings, has almost come to an end. There will be a chance for some freezing drizzle this for the next few hours, however, most locations across East Texas have seen their temperatures actually RISE over the past few hours...keeping the drizzle and lt. rain to just that...drizzle and lt. rain. Temperatures will remain at or above freezing for at least the next few hours...falling into the upper 20s overnight. Black Ice could be a problem in the morning...please be extra cautious if you are out and about in the morning...
As we move along, during our day tomorrow, the sun should appear and dry up all of the remaining ice on grassy areas and trees, as well as our cars and trucks. Much warmer afternoons are on tap for us as we near normal conditions by this weekend.
