Jury selection begins for ETX man accused of killing his ex on his porch

WHITEHOUSE, TX (KLTV) -

Jury selection began Monday for a Whitehouse man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend.

69-year-old Larry Joe Smith was arrested in March for the shooting death of Sandra Greenhall. Greenhall was fatally shot on Smith's front porch; Smith alleges he thought she was an intruder.

Smith was indicted in June for Greenhall's murder.
