Gift of Love: Casey

It was cold afternoon as Casey and I made our way around the Putt Putt golf course. We had fun trying our hand at some of the more difficult stations. This 4th grader loves reading because they get to use the computer.

"It's fun because we get to play games," Casey said.

Casey is a fairly outgoing boy and has a great sense of humor. In both school and at home, Casey gets along well with his peers and authority figures. He loves playing outside and playing various sports.

"Ride bikes, play basketball, go fishing," Casey said.

Casey also likes to watch movies and playing video games. Casey would like a family who will allow him to maintain contact with his grandmother "Nana". He also hopes to participate in extracurricular activities, church and community activities with his forever family.

I asked him, "What do you want to be when you grow up? Casey: I don't know yet. Weighing your options. Casey: yea," Casey said.

Casey favorite place to eat is McDonalds as he loves their chicken nuggets and fries.

He also likes, "mostly corn dogs," Casey said.

As for dessert, "that one I have a whole bunch so I don't even know!" Casey said.

The one thing this 9 year old does know, is that he wants a forever family more than anything, a family that will show Casey the Gift of Love.

If you'd like to know more about Casey and other East Texas children available for adoption call our Gift of Love hotline, toll-free, 1-888-KIDS-275.
