Tyler woman celebrates 101st birthday

TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

At Waterton Plaza in Tyler today, Katie Honeycutt marked her 101st birthday.

The Troup native was married more than 60 years and worked as a nurse at Mother Frances Hospital helping to deliver babies.

Because she was a New Year's Eve baby, Mrs. Honeycutt was given a bell so she could ring in the New Year.
