Pirates, Lady Cougars win at NWR Holiday Tournament

RANKIN COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

The Pearl Pirates outlasted Velma Jackson to win the Northwest Rankin Holiday Tournament championship.

The Pirates edged the Falcons 47-42.

On the girls' side, Northwest Rankin beat Clinton 53-49 to win the title.
