The city of Los Angeles is offering grocery store gift cards for people who turn in their guns.
The city is holding its annual gun buy-back on Wednesday. Guns can be turned in anonymously with no questions asked.
The city's mayor says they are handing out $100 gift cards to local grocery stores in exchange for handguns, shotguns and rifles. Assault weapons can bet a $200 gift card.
City officials credit the gun buy-back with taking nearly 8,000 guns off the streets.
