Fugitive Caught In Harrison County

The man who escaped custody after police say he stabbed an East Texas officer yesterday, is captured.

Mario Gamboa of Wisconsin, who also goes by the name Andres Bravo, allegedly stabbed narcotics agent, Sgt. Chad Taylor in the hand. Police say he then took off into the woods of Harrison county.

Bravo was riding in a vehicle with Sgt. Taylor during an undercover investigation. Officers found him shortly after 11 last night near the Sabine river, just south of Marshall.

Bravo is charged with attempted capital murder and escape.
